*GREEN RIDE...

...So this is the plan.. I am trying to organize a small group ride, with a tentative date set for this saturday May 16th...

We will start in the parking lot of REI pineville. However, this is in no way, shape, or form a ride intended for, or sponsored by REI or it's employees. Their lot is simply an easy place to meet with ample, safe parking.

The plan is to pull out of there around 1:11 pm or so and take the back roads out by sam's club and work our way towards pineville/matthews road where we will pick up the NC Greenway system, and ride it all the way out to it's end at Rea Road right by Trader Joes, where we'll take a little pit stop and maybe grub a little...

After some grub, we'll head back and enjoy the pretty greenery the whole way back...

The purpose of this ride is to enjoy a swift ride in the woods, one of nature's purest forms, fixed...

Hey, just a heads up. weather.com said it would be raining Saturday...I'm going to continue with the weather checks as we get closer, but be prepared and bring a poncho...

I was reading over the body here that i had written for *GREEN RIDE and i realized that the way it was worded could sound condescending towards employees of REI. I wanted to make sure it was not misconceived, because that was not the intention at all. Simply put, I just wanted to get across that the ride was not sponsored by REI and that it was not solely intended for their employees. That being said, REI members and employees are more than welcome, and certainly invited to ride...see you there

NODAVELO ride...

...to the beach was an apparent success according to Luther, who posted some pics taken along the way at NODAVELO... it makes me really proud to be in such great company and congratulations on such a dope ride...

...some good memories right now, when times were easier...  Blink-182 "What's my age again?..." and playing some skate2... love that stuff man..., don't get me wrong though...i would much rather be out riding but....check the forecast..it's wet all weekend..

...was when I finished my "Metamorphosis" essay last night.. it turned out to be alot more work than i originally expected...but nonetheless, i finished it and it is nothing short of straight money...Geoff, by the way, I'm really excited to hear about the ride today man..I wish you guys lots of luck, good weather, and lots of beer at the finish.. peace.

..so i got that book read, Lancelot, by Walker Percy. it was a really good read. it kept e pretty  interested throughout, but it was twisted, especially at the end, but i won't ruin it for you.. go check it out..i'm off to school, one.
